Blessings!
God’s mercy never runs out. It is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22–24). What a powerful promise to hold onto.
And yet, many people are walking through life with a downcast spirit. They are discouraged, overwhelmed, and slowly losing hope. Some are hurting deeply on the inside, but hiding it behind coping mechanisms that only bring more damage and more bondage. Maybe that’s where you are right now.
Hear me on this. That is NOT God’s desire for you. The Lord is not distant from the brokenhearted. He is compassionate toward the weary, the burdened, and the crushed in spirit.
Jesus says:
“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. All of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28–30)
Are you depressed? Do you feel like you can’t climb out of the hole you’re in? Then come to Him just as you are. Don’t let shame keep you away. Jesus doesn’t demand that you fix yourself before you approach Him. He invites you to bring the weight you’ve been carrying so He can exchange it for His rest.
When you come to Him, He gives you something the world can’t manufacture. A peace that is supernatural, steady, and real. And when that exchange happens, you won’t remain the same.
May you enter His rest today. May your weary soul breathe again. And may the mercy that is new this morning meet you right where you are.
Love you greatly,
Pastor Luis Diaz
