Luis Diaz is a native of Rochester, NY, born and raised on the Northeast side of the city. Luis is a proud husband and father. He and Melissa have been married for 18 years and have birthed into this world three beautiful children. Emma, Israel, and Roman.
Luis became a believer in 2003. As a young believer, it was Luis’ desire to study scriptures. This led him to attend Roberts Wesleyan College. He graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and Philosophy.
In 2013, HCF (Hope Christian Fellowship) hired Luis as their office manager. In 2015, HCF ordained Luis as Associate Pastor. As part of a church plant for HCF, Luis became the lead Pastor at Hope Christian Fellowship Eastside in May 2022.
Luis understands the current reality of family life for many today. Luis’ father and mother did not raise him. His grandparents took on that responsibility. With the grace of God, Luis desires to minister to every father, mother, and child who comes from a broken home.
The first institution created by God is the family. And society is the mirror of family. As a family succeeds or fails, so will our society.
Finally and most importantly, Luis is unashamed of Jesus Christ and His gospel. Luis is committed to preaching and teaching the truths of Jesus Christ to whoever will listen.
